Health Begins with an Exam...
It is important to remember that dental problems are not self-correcting.
In time, they simply become more complicated and expensive and offer fewer
treatment options. Someone once said, If you ignore a tooth problem,
the tooth will probably go away. There is a lot of truth in that
statement. Having your teeth examined, x-rayed (when necessary) and cleaned
on a regular basis are the soundest investments you can make in keeping
your teeth. Conscientious home care on your part combined with our efforts
should prevent gum disease, dental decay and the loss of teeth.
Be Informed
Dental education is important. We can provide you with educational materials.
From printed materials to free consultations, youll receive the
extra information you need in maintaining optimum dental health. If you
have questions or want more information, please ask. Remember, we are
your partners in your dental health.
Consultations
More often than not, there will be choices for you to make about whether
to place a silver restoration or a white restoration, about whether to
get a crown or maybe even to extract the tooth.Your best choices for treatment
are those solutions that fit your needs, your priorities and your budget.Your
participation in treatment decisions is the cornerstone of appropriate
and cost-effective care. With this in mind, we offer consultations with
you to discuss treatment options, as well as associated costs.
Infection Control
With patient safety a primary concern you should know that our office
complies with all state and federal guidelines for sterilization and infection
control. We have designed and built a state-of-the-art facility. We sterilize
everything that can be sterilized, including handpieces, in our two autoclaves.
We disinfect everything that cannot be placed in an autoclave with chemical
sterilants registered with the Environmental Protective Agency. We do
not use city water. We utilize separate canisters of distilled water in
each treatment room.
Appointments
When you make an appointment, we ask your cooperation in keeping the appointment.
If you cannot keep the appointment, please notify our office 24 hours
in advance. By doing so, we are able to give that time to another patient.
Parking
There is ample free parking at our new location. You can park on the street
in front of our building or across the street in the free Seminary Plaza
parking ramp. You can also park behind our office in our reserved spaces
by entering the alley from Bush Street between Signal Bank and The Village
Market. Please note the rear door to our office is locked to the parking
lot so that privacy for patients being treated is preserved. You will
need to walk around to the front of the building to gain entrance. This
rear entrance is reserved for handicapped patients only.
